On Wednesday we joined other chapters of Citizens U.K. in London to take our campaign to end the misery of children living in temporary accommodation to Central Government. 10 students took part in a morning workshop in the stunning St Johns church at Waterloo, followed by a walk to Parliament Square where we were joined by lots of other schools and members of the public who have been affected by homelessness. Our students met both Andrew Pakes M.P. and Sam Carling M.P. and asked for their continued support with our homelessness and housing campaign in Peterborough. The students took every opportunity to develop their character pillars; Jeanie co-chaired the meeting while Riqbah and Reya delivered a moving speech on Parliament Square. Thank you to Mrs Burley who went above and beyond to support the trip and the following students who did TDA proud!
