Students from our Year 10 food tech class have been offering a much needed helping hand at the Millfield community fridge over the past 2 weeks. Their aim was to serve at least 300 hot meals to people in need in the local community in order to celebrate the TDET 300^th anniversary. Over 4 days the students prepared, cooked and served: vegetarian chilli and rice, leek and broccoli pasta bake, mango and pineapple fruit crumble with custard and hot chocolate with marshmallows, far exceeding the 300 meals aim!
